Southern Hampshire Primary Care Alliance Extended Access service provides GP-led multidisciplinary clinics during the evening, weekends and bank holidays. Clinics run in Primary Care settings across the Fareham and Gosport and South Eastern Hampshire area. They provide an extension to the normal operating hours of General Practice, seeing a mix of patients booked on the day and in advance.
We offer a range of sessions for primary care clinicians and so we actively seek and welcome interest and applications from healthcare professionals.
These include:
- Practice Nurses
- Advanced Clinical Practitioners
- Health Care Support Workers/Health Care Assistants
Practitioner roles require current NMC/HCP full registration ad appropriate post-graduate level knowledge, skills, and competence in line with National and Advance Practice Framework (Level 7 or above).
Practice Nurse roles require current NMC registration and experience in General Practice (treatment room or long term conditions, cervical smears – Level 5 or above).
Healthcare Assistant roles require appropriate knowledge, skills and competence to work in a primary care/general practice setting (Level 3).
